Ok. Cyber mingling is obviously something I can no longer avoid. So why are we all on here? To mingle? Network? Arselick? All of the above I guess?!
So what could you possibly want to know? '97 - 2004 spent in Spain and now enjoying an extended honey moon with my home town. I (try to)work hard, stay up too late, and generally set out to enjoy. Radio's my day thing, more details at www.bbc.co.uk/jersey.
Motivated by good energy, good people, good food and good music. It's a difficult question to answer when asked what you're into, but I guess there's only two kinds of anything. Good. And bad.
Appreciate and always learn from the legends of roots music all the while continuing the journey of the electronic unknown. There's something kinda sick yet satisfing in being driven for hours by soley fabricated, synthetic sounds. But as important as new music is, all that went before it.
At this point I think it's only fair to to tell you I am a DJ imposter. I assault the ears of innocent beer swilling revellers in bars, hoping they find something in the choice of music inoffensive, and maybe even at times vaguely pleasureable. No insults (I can't handle) as of yet so until I restring my 15 year old guitar that I'm shit at playing and decide to yet again take up writing indulgent, self pitying, very lame, bitter sweet folk rock as I did as a tragic spotty oike of teenagerdom - I'm gonna keep doing what I'm doing.
Right, well, starting to feel slightly exposed so this welome note ends here. I imagine I will change this intro soon enough as I rarely feel the same about anything for long, hence the lack of tatoos, cosmetic surgery and general consistency (although have pretty much stood by my intolerence to letchy blokes wearing piss catching bizarre shoes with brass buckles). But in the meantime, welcome. Open to reccomendations, invitations and decent proposals. High five....
