I started djing at the age of 9 about 24 years ago and it's been apart of my life ever since. I would sit in my room for hours on end trying mixes and experimenting with new sounds. I loved electronic music the best. Artists like Art of Noise, Mantronix's, Kraftwerk, Cybertron (Juan Atkins), Uncle Jamms Army, Egyptian Lover, Unknown DJ, and more. This is what got me through my childhood. My first gig I ever had was a Halloween party in the 7th grade that a couple of girls asked me to dj. This was an experience and a road that took me to the nightlife that I love so much now. After getting a fix for djing live I started to perform at break in's and showcases around the Bay Area. These showcases were all about tricks, scratches, and quick mixing, much different than today's dj standards. I loved performing at the events and the rush I got from it made me want to do it more. After a couple of years doing this I noticed that the crowds at some of the events started to get really bad. It got so bad that everytime that I went to perform at an event a huge fight would break out. My friend was always trying to bring me out to parties that he used to go to. Since I was having so many problems at the ones I was at, I decided to go. That's when I discoved raves in 1989. I loved going to these parties because I didn't have to worry about a fight breaking out or looking over my back. This is where I was going to start djing from then on. to be continued...
