Formed in fall of '05, the band members of Engulfed all met back in 1995 at a Mr. Bungle show in the men's restroom at Bernies distillery in a sausage slapping contest. They soon after decided to form a band, and after much debate, decided on the name Engulfed, commemorating the band's bout with pelvic inflammatory disease.
