profile design by RRielI'm a fifth-generation air accordian player. Nobody dares to wear socks around me, because I just rock them right off. I enjoy a well-rounded and cultivated culinary ability, however I choose to pretend that tofu doesn't exist. I have a fondness for monkeys and monkey-shaped things. I collect haunted antique typewriters. I juggle burning chainsaws. Once, I stayed up for the better part of a week and figured out the meaning of life, but I forgot it once I fell asleep. I wish Barbara Walters would stop calling me for interviews. That ship has sailed, Barb.

My Interests

Unclutter. Strangley, linguistic theory. I think I'd like to try my hand at ships in bottles. I once thought about trying to learn Esperanto. Then I missed the screening of Incubus that would have caused an Esperanto revival in my head and made me finish. It's only 10 easy courses, for Pete's sake. What's wrong with me? Don't I have any motivation?

I'd like to meet:

Tom Waits, Lauren Bacall, Stephen King, but most of all, William Shatner.

Music:

I like all types of music. Really, I do. I realize that this sounds like a cop-out coming from most people, but aren't lists upon lists musical artists, placed next to one another as to make the person seem well-balanced and eclectic a little tiresome as well? I'll tell you, they are tiresome for the person who's supposed to type them, so just trust me when I tell you that I like a lot of different genres of music, and that I dislike a lot as well.

Movies:

See the Music section. I've seen a lot of movies, and I've enjoyed many of them.

Television:

I'm a slave to the TV. I plan to do something about it someday.

Books:

Someday I will take a picture of my bookshelf and post it here. I'm pretty well-read. Let's leave it at that.
