Making her home in Upstate NY for the past 20 years, Mel Ginsberg-Stevens is a fiddler/violinist, vocalist, and private instructor. She officially began her studies at the age of 7 and has been studying and playing ever since. She received her degrees in English, Music and Russian language from Ithaca College in 1992.
While classical music is her foundation, Mel enjoys playing Celtic, Scandinavian, Middle Eastern, Folk, Klezmer, and Gypsy music as well as singing in as many languages as possible.
