Mostly traditional, acoustic stuff. Morris dance music, French music(accordion, bagpipes, & hurdy gurdy), Galician Gaita music, Cantigas de Santa Maria. Greek, Turkish, Armenian & Afghan music. Scandanavian stuff.

Some of the authors I've read recently; Marvin Harris, Jared Diamond, Edward T Hall, Idries Shah.
