Bono. I respect anyone who has done so much to help others. I would love to have a cup of tea and discuss world hunger.George Carlin. I think he has a great outlook and he is just a very funny man. I don't know why but he is someone that I would want to meet in the frozen food isle.The Dali Lama. Any man who had his land stolen, people decimated and can still smile, I would love to hug him. I still have so much to learn from him.Someone who will teach me something new.Anyone who will inspire me to grow and shine.

various - My son's school band. Voltaire, Phish, Pink Floyd, The Dead, Tori Amos, The Police, anything from the 80s, renaissance music, Bruce Springsteen, U2, Bon Jovi - cant help it, I live in NJ.
Movies:
Finally got to the movies - I saw Spiderman 3 and POTC 3 opening nites. Yes, with my Spiderman shirt and in garb drinking rum. - See blog. Just saw Halloween - not sure if I liked it. Still on the fence. Looking foward to Beowulf. OMFG!!!!!! That is a wet dream come true. Not only is it one of my fav. stories but HOLY SHIT Angelina Jolie is fucking amazing. OMFG The entire cast is hot and they are doing some wierd effects to make it look dreamy/anime. OMFG. I cannot wait.
Television:
Cancelled cable. I watch tv on the net now. The office rocks. I could keep going but I know I have already whipped my geek out.
Books:
I have a giant shelf of them. I will get to them someday. I am really trying to make time for me. Finally read a book the other day. Took me two days but I have been trying to do it forever. I needed quite time.
Heroes:
Bono, Angelina Jolie and most important, the everyday people who do every day things and some how make a huge impact on the rest of us; EMT, Rescue Workers, Salvation Army, soup kitchen, and volunteers of all sorts, down to the person who stops at a car accident just to try to calm down the injured and be a hand to hold until the police arive. The Boy Scout leaders who do not have their sons in scouts but want to make a difference and be a positive in kids lives who may not have that anywhere else; The teacher who actually cares about her job and makes a difference in one child's life; the person who picks up cigarette butts in the park since they know it takes 20 years for a filter to break down; Anyone who votes not just to vote but votes with a conscience; Anyone who donates blood, organs, or time; A friend who has always supported my crazy ideas even though I was corrupting her and everyone always though it to be the other way around; My other friend who I know I can always call if I needed help to move the body; oh yea, and Spiderman.
