They Might Be Giants is the best band ever... also I like a lot of mellow alternative rock and folk and quirky stuff, like Indigo Girls, Moxy Fruvous, Counting Crows, Keane. New stuff I'm getting into: Wir Sind Helden, Iron and Wine, Sufjan Stevens, Half-Handed Cloud. I like to listen to music for free online:

Movies:
I like movies that aren't crazy violent or gratuitous. Some faves are Mulan, Strictly Ballroom, Stargate, Singing in the Rain, Drunken Master 2, and Jackie Chan as an actor (not all of his movies are exctly great but he is a funny guy).
Television:
I was really hooked on X-files back in the day. I watch Survivor and CSI most weeks. Don't own my own TV.
Books:
The Bible, pretty much anything by Madeline L'Engle or C.S. Lewis, The Language Instinct, An Unquiet Mind... I love to read but sometimes school and work sucks out the will to read stuff on your own!
