Tesla....(you can thank him for alternating current.....that's ALL of your electricity). Edwin Armstrong....if you listen to FM radio you can thank him, he invented it. Oh yeah, you can also thank him every time you talk on your cell phone, he invented the "Superhetrodyne" circuit which is still the basis for all radio recieving. Reginald Fessenden - Canadian radio pioneer, first person to broadcast the human voice over the air.....Marconi WAS NOT the "inventor" of radio! Ted Rogers Sr. - He invented the first radio to operate without batteries.....another Canadian making history.
