About Me

I am a 25 year old IT geek / musician that is based in Dubbo NSW (The central west) and as you might of guessed i love music!
Winding the clock back a little, i was 5 years old when i first started using computers, whether it was playing games or typing in filthy words that my parents would be horrified at, i would spend hours sitting there amazed by what i could do on this 'magic white box'.
As i grew up and later in my teens i discovered a strong passion for music and especially a love for singing. After joining a small band known as Lik-Wid before i finished school, i spent most of my time learning about the music industry, how it works and how i could become a contributing part of it.
During the 7 years i spent in Lik-Wid i had the opportunity to meet and talk to some remarkable and influential names in the music industry such as Stuart Stuart (The Veronicas, Small Mercies), Matt Lovell (Silverchair, Inxs, Jebediah, Lotel) Dave Leonard (The Butterfly Effect, Melodyssey) and almost immediately i started to learn just how much i had to learn.
Overall i have spent almost 19 years right on the cutting edge of technology, i have developed countless websites, merchandise, cd artworks, edited videos and pretty much anything you can imagine related to IT and music.
The latest addition to my experience has been the starting of my own production house Devilworks Productions, which has been a goal behind the scenes for some time now.
Devilworks Productions is not just 'another studio', it is more of a whole package studio for serious regional artists. To me educating an artist is just as important as recording them, how can they expect to compete in todays industry with so much demand if they do not use their brain and think for themselves?.
My main mission is to record my artists at the highest quality possible, assist them in putting together an affordable fantastic sounding demo that people hear and just 'wow' over, and open up as many doors as possible to help them get started. If you are serious about recording a demo in the near future and you are sick of dull lifeless recordings do absolutely nothing for you, then get in touch with me here, and we'll see what we can do! For now, leave a message, say hello or turn your amp up to 11 and show me some infinite sustain. ***Liam Mulligan - Devilworks Productions***
