Music is the closest thing we have to a time machine

About Me

I am a professional Musician/Engineer/Producer, what that means is my whole life is music, I play it record it and create it. It is my heart, mind, body and soul... I played in a band called From Zero, we had a record contract on Arista. Even went on to MTV's Real World Season 10 (new york) Toured with too many bands to even begin to name, but had a great time... I have since mellowed out a bit on all that and focused on my carrer in music production. During the course of recording and producing bands, I came across a great band Shades Of Fiction that when asked, I joined as bassist.
I couldn't imagine a world with no music or sound. Music truly is the soundtrack to life. It plays such an important part in all of our lives. I consider myself lucky to be able to capture it as it was meant to sound and produce it to new heights... I am chief engineer at Uptown Recording in Chicago, I make things work... I eat pro-tools it keeps me going... Recording in the modern age with vintage mindset, makes for a stress free living.

Collective Unconcious

Never have I thought about this as much as I have lately. Things we've learned without knowing. Situations that make us feel on edge. De-ja-vu... Perhaps not as much as the feeling that it's happe...

Strange times Rob's Rant!!!

Insanity is said to be the act of repeating ones actions time and time again expecting a different result. It is by that definition that I spew forth the words "the world is insane". Year after year...

Bit by the bug

Once again I found myself inspired to play music. It's been too long since my fingers and forearms felt this familiar burn, but it's a good thing. I went to play with these guys in the band Shades Of...
