Mantra has recorded an album titled Taken Out. The cd contains a brief collection of 4 songs which alter in sound such as the hard hitting title track Taken Out to the mellow Lost For Words and the radio friendly songs Its Too Late and Not Like You. The album was produced,mixed and mastered by Liam Mulligan at LGM Productions in the rural town of Dubbo. This is the first release by the alternative rock band mantra and hope to have another album out late this year or early 2009.
Mantra has began writing for the next album. There has been 5 songs written and demos have been recorded and are now being fine tuned before entering the studio.
