The Ugly Boys of Oi!

About Me

Available now, see blog for more details. Available now from http://www.ascalon-records.com/store.cfmWe're currently on the look out for gigs, we're very cheap and very well behaved, if any one can help out, let us know. As far as history goes, Scum formed way back when in late 2000, and since then have played with the likes of Gundog, UK Subs, The Business, Deadline, On File, Condemned 84, Superyob, Loyalty, Crashed Out, Head Case, Riot Company, Roger Miret & the Disasters, Murphy's Law, Section 5, Resistance 77, The Dead Pets, Intensive Care etc. Due to numerous lineup changes progress has been a bit eratic at best, but hopefully we should keep the new lineup for a bit longer than the rest.See what these nice people say about us: Scum Yorkshire oi!Gotta let you all into a secret here, Ive had this c.d on cassette in my car since it was given to me by texas joe just after we got back from morecambe, and I used to listen to it all the time when I was going to visit my mate micky in hospital, and it helped me to stick at it and fight, it gave me as much inspiration as a lot of the early oi! records that I have been listening to for the last twenty five years.cant differentiate between tracks on this album, they are all what I like listening to, in your face skinhead oi! music. I still play the cassette every time I go somewhere in the car and want to feel good about myself. I need to see these boys play live, and have a beer with them as I reckon well find a lot to talk about. Great c.d lads with a lot of feeling, lads that are not afraid to say what they think, who said politics had disappeared from oi! music, youll realize its back when you hear this.the real politics of skinhead oi! music. Hey lads the fight goes on. Taken from the london skinhead.

Review from Steel Capped Nation

ASCALON REC. This plays like a more punk rock version of Condemned 84. A good hard vocal sound, loud but not metal sounding guitars, drums could be more solid but they make up for it in spirit and r...

Continuing the fluid lineup!

All change again! Los is no longer in the band due to work commitments, because of this we could do with a new bassist, any one up for it, and able to give a bit of commitment and effort get in touch.
