This is the official myspace site for On File, maintained by the band, we'll post the latest info on what's happening with On File and try to answer any questions you have, all interview requests from fanzines etc... can be mailed to the band via this myspace site. Note: All enquiries regarding booking the band or merchandise orders should be e-mailed to [email protected] File, working class Scottish Oi! band from Dundee formed in 1997 by Hedgy with Craig on Bass and Barry on drums. In 1998 the band released the Monday thru to Friday 7" and Ejected from the Premises album and then after 3 gigs the band split. Greg joined on Bass and Stewart on drums in 1999 and the band started touring extensively across Europe, and in 2000 the Another day in Paradise E.P. was released and in 2001 the Real McOi! album was also released.
In 2002 Pete joined the band and the Birds Don't like the Skinheads E.P. was recorded and released, shortly after Greg left the band and was replaced on bass by Gordy. The band took a break in 2004 and Rossko replaced Pete on Guitar when they started gigging again in 2005.
During 2006 On File have re-released both albums on CD with the singles as bonus tracks through Step-1 music and recorded a new track for inclusion on a new Oi! Compilation which will feature an exclusive track from all the British Oi! Bands, Rossko left the band and has been replaced by Paul on Guitar.
2007 sees the band start the year with trips to Milan & Athens, we are now writing songs for a split CD with Bakers Dozen......more news soon
