Music
Music and I are the same thing. I can stand anything, really, with a few exceptions: country, rap, and do not over-do the hardcore. As you'll see, I am way into older stuff as my favs. The reasoning for that is nothing of a rebellious nature. Being a musician and songwriter myself, I find that most modern bands just use the same formula. It's not that they all sound the same, it's just they all seem to take the same approach at it. So, in other words, it's quite redundant and uninteresting after a while. It just seems anybody and their dog can get a record deal these days, so it's just not quality like it used to be. My basic philosophy on music is this: If it wasn’t on vinyl, it's not real music. When I get an album put out some day, it is going to be on a big ol' 10-inch before it’s ever on CD! You have my word!

I could easily be a movie critic, but why should I get paid to give people my opinion? I'd much rather have people think come up with their own than bend over and take some one else's up the butt. TV is both redundant and sad. What is TV today, anyway? Just the same stupid redundant crap over and over again. All we seem to have are shows about cops, doctors, & lawyers, not to mention "reality" shows and those prime-time newscasts, and in the day you just have a bunch of soap operas & psycho-therapy-realted talk shows... It's no wonder this counrty is so fucking depressed, negative, & war-oriented all the time, 'cause they spend all thier time watching TV, and all TV seems to be out-putting, other than a handful of sitcoms & late-night talk shows, is pure negativity, over-dramatization, and false hopes. I have not watched TV of my own free will in about three years. Same goes for video games. There once was a time in my life when I did almost nothing but sit around and watch TV and play video games, but experiancing life became much more important that the TV screen or a game controller.
