I am here for Dating, Serious Relationships, Friends and Networking

About Me

I live and work in a typical sleepy old English town with lots of old pubs, live bands, history and a creek.I spent my earlier years in the Army traveling to many countries including Germany, Canada, Belize, Denmark and Saudi Arabia.I spent some time working for other companies but the 9-5 thing just isn't my style.I am now in a position to work (or not) on whatever I feel is cool and interesting. My days are spent creating the next big dot-com idea and you will often find me walking along the creek deep in thought, gossiping on street corners with friends or meeting new customers in London (Normally the South Bank or Leicester Square). We have developed a site called ArtMakers for Artist and Craftsmen (and women) to show of their work, sell it or even auction it. The site features forums and Communities of Interests. For the ladies in the UK we have created BritishWomenArtists.com . This site is sponsored by ArtMakers and is free to use. Many artists are dismayed by the dumbing-down and cheapening of their trade by the big players. So we are in the process of creating a site to solve that dilemma. We have made a start here Real Art and Real CraftI have created a site to promote my friend's book about new business strategies called 'Dingoes and Marsupial Lions' The book is an imaginative instruction manual on how to build and sustain a profitable business based on Communities of Interest (CoI). It starts with the enlightening and relevant story of how the dingo became the top predator in Australia, displacing the marsupial lion which became extinct.I am also helping the rock band Venus Casino (and a few other bands) ramp up their web presence and visibility using technology we developing here. When we have it working we will invite a few bands to try it for free before we unleash it onto an unsuspecting planet !! If all goes well, we will extend it to any profession that needs high visibility (models, actors, comedians, etc) - more on that later !For rare book collectors we have created :-
RareList . This allows you to list 100 books with photos for free. For people who want to know whats going on in their area, we are re-doing this project : EventPrompt More details later.

My Interests

Technology, Internet, science, astronomy, maths, music, films.

I'd like to meet:

I am here for four reasons.

Romance. A nice, intelligent lady who understands what I'm trying to do and who even might be able to help (Or I might be able to help her too). Someone who isn't too far way. I adore women with that certain 'cool intelligence' and a sense of humour.Business. To meet like minded people and see if we can do something cool and interesting.Opportunities. Many of our greatest inventions and discoveries came about by chance. So, the more random connections I make the greater the probability that something interesting might happen - hence my random assortment of friends.Curiosity There are many people I can meet here that I would never meet in real life. This gives me a chance to see what life is like in other countries and professions.
Here is a list of some of the wildest things I have done :-
Arrested terrorists (Army) Been shot at (Army) Been mortar-bombed (Army) Climbed up a tower crane (As a stupid kid !) Jumped of a slow moving train like in Western films (As a stupid kid !) Fought with an alligator (In Belize. It was only 1 foot long !) Fought with a shark (In Belize. it was only 2 feet long and I was in a canoe) Fought with a soldier-ant (In Belize. I lost, it bit a lump out of my thumb)
