I'm asking you to hold me, just like a mornin' paper.

About Me

Likes: Detroit, old architecture, the Detroit People Mover, Paul Newman's salad dressing.Turn-offs: Mike Ilitch, white jelly beans, pigeons, Bruce Springsteen.Well, www.buildingsofdetroit.com has yet to recover from the nuclear meltdown back in October, and I know nothing about HTML stuff, so I don't even know where to begin on fixing it. Sean's busy with school. That means, I suppose, that the site stays retarded for a while. But that didn't stop me - being delusional enough to think people might actually want to see stuff about Detroit - from putting some of my videomathingies up on YouTube. There are only six of them up so far, but a couple of 'em turned out radder than fishsticks. Or at least that's what mommy said. You'll laugh at the sight of the train station with people - AND TRAINS. You'll cry at the sight of photos of old City Hall being demolished in 1961. You'll smile at the realization that this place is pretty frickin' boss.So add our channel ... or don't.http://www.youtube.com/user/BuildingsofDetroit

My Interests

Hating Bruce Springsteen, music, pianos, sarcasm, Sour Patch Kids, Diet Pepsi, sleeping, good grammar, Detroit, the No. 2, record shopping, Faygo, alcohol, old architecture, urban exploring, and rejecting friend requests from shitty bands I've never heard of.

Why Im proud to be a Detroiter

I've become addicted to collecting old Detroit postcards from the 1910s and 1920s. They offer a peek at what my city once was. Some of it is horrifying: the sight of an amazing building then that is n...
