About Me

despite the academic interest, no one really knows where or when Tidal District really began, but in the hearts and minds of the faithful, there are those that sense that as a concept, an ideal, a purpose, Tidal District never really began, at least in the traditional sense. It is more easily defined as a meeting of minds, a subversion of the traditional conception of the "band" reconfigured as a postmodern tableau. Put another way, it's four very different people, with very different musical ideas, forcing themselves to communicate through music in search of perfect momentsRules stunt momentum, the heart is organic and to name is to destroy. It misses the point: love every bit, or change it til you do. Care about every element and others won't be able to resist. If you build it, they will come. Hate the mediocre, oppose compromise, and create something that makes you proud. Then even if it doesn't pay off at least you know everyone else is wrong.

Influences: The restless movement of water over the pebbles on a beach at sunset with the cries of startled seagulls alligning in angry v's, sparring with the air, the wind, the everlasting motion of life itself, swirling, spinning and cathartically collapsing and exploding in the effervescense mimicked by the synapses in their translation as the lens to the retina, as the sculpture to the marble and so and on into the void of perplexity with no recourse to previous failings, exploits, all of the above behind us, towards the sky. And dEUS.
