She got her first guitar when she was 9 and took lessons
for a while, but shelved it for a competitive nature in sports.
She picked it up again late in High School and has never
looked back. In 2003, she performed with the Nappy Roots
on a couple of television dates, Pepsi Smash and The Tonight
Show.
She loves to sit at home writing, but she'll soon venture out
into the big bad world to perform them as well.
