I'd like to meet:
First of all , I would TOTALLY bitch out if I met Sade. I've loved her since my childhood. Secondly, Alice Walker, Gordon Parks, Earth Wind and Fire ( I'm old school at heart),Erykah Badu( my dream job would be singing background), Pearl Cleage, Bernice McFadden(her novel "The Warmest December" described my feelings toward my father to a "T"), and Matt Groening.
Music:
I am the quintessential "OLD HEAD" when it comes to music. Old R&B, Old Hip Hop. Any thing that takes me back to a time where music was created, cared for, and nurtured. The kind where just by hearing it, you can tell what you were doing the first time you heard it.
Movies:
The color purple is probably my favorite movie. I have others too, but my husband and I have B movies in common. We love them and quote from them ALL the time.. to many to name. "In Philadelphia..it cost fifty bucks"!! All movie buffs will get it and know what movie it's from.
Television:
I am an ER fanatic. My house shuts down when it comes on. I have been known to snap if I am interrupted. I love Law and Order:SVU. That show, no matter what I'm doing sux me in, and I have to watch it. Love The Simpsons, and Jeopardy. Love the best week ever on vh1, and my other guilty pleasure is I Love New York. Horrible show, entertaining to watch.
Books:

Heroes:
All mothers and fathers, who take the time and raise their kids with no questions asked, and no rewards. Oh, ..... and Oprah!!
