I like alot of different things and am always open for new experiences. Some past moments that stand out in my head: my children - everything they do; camping with friends; running a horse top speed on the beach; rowing a whale boat on a row team with the wind whipping the water to white peaks; hanging by finger and toe tips on the edge of cliffs at Yosemite on a hike to reach the top of a waterfall... and making it; an outdoor Andreas Vollenweider concert under the stars with a blanket and hot chocolate; 4 rows from center stage of the Purple Rain concert sitting next to the Escovedos and my best friend screaming beside me; playing my flute and having a coyote come and sit across the ravine; singing for inmates in San Quentin and feeling the amazing energy in response; dancing at Senor Frogs in Mexico; being caught in an undertow; a silly cruise ship romance; standing at the back of the ship at midnight watching the moonlight reflected right in the middle of the ship's wake; snorkling in the warm waters of a protected cove at St. John with sand like fine white flour and brilliant fish everywhere; being caught in split second pitch black when Mount St. Helen's blew... greatest of all...... ~Love.~ Having it, giving it, believing in it .......
I believe that my finest moment so far of loving another was when God allowed me to hold the hand of a dying man and be the only one to hear his last dying words of thanks and goodbye that he asked me to share with everyone. Moments before he did not even have his swallowing reflex left, and moments after he was gone. He was smiling. That gift of God allowing me to witness a man come back from within minutes of his death when he had been literally, physically gone for days, and to see him with knowledge, crystal clarity, and a twinkle in his eye for what must have been what he knew was coming... was the greatest gift of Love that has ever been given to me. I never underestimate the power of Love. I never underestimate the unknown possibilities.
