My favorite old stuff is Creedence Clearwater Revival, Sly and the Family Stone, Gladys Knight and the Pips, Cab Calloway, Louie Armstrong, Ella Fitzgerald, Thelonius Monk. Just became a big fan of Blue Mother Tupelo . And Junior Brown is the rockin'est roadhouse bad-ass I've ever seen in my life!

Finished Blue Like Jazz by Donald Miller; also finished The Tipping Point by Malcolm Gladwell. Picked the Tender Bar back up again; now that I'm happy, I think I can handle the poigniancy of this book. Still need to get back to Condy.... Read my friend Marshall's fabulous books!
