Toronto native Tony Verna first picked up a guitar at age 10. Shortly after that, he bought a copy of AC/DC's Back in Black and the rest is history. What followed were years of playing in garage bands, bar bands and eventually, extensive touring all over Ontario and across Canada. The 90's saw him hooking up with recording act Britton. Together they released "Until the Day We Die" (MaGaDa Int'l) followed by a successful European tour that included Saga, and John Wetton (of Asia and King Crimson fame). He also kept busy playing in various TV and film soundtracks, many of which starring Mr. Tae-Bo himself Billy Blanks and wrestling superstar Roddy Piper.Today, Tony remains a fixture in the Southern Ontario music scene playing almost everything including classic rock, hard rock, blues, country and showing up at the occasional jam nite. He is also no stranger to the tribute circuit, with tributes to Journey, Aerosmith, Ozzy, Motley Crue and KISS under his belt.
