About Me

Lawrence Falcomer was born & raised in Toronto, Canada. His guitar playing has often been compared to the fiery explosiveness of an Eddie Van Halen combined with the tasteful elegance of Neil Schon. Lawrence started playing music at a very young age; his musical talent was evident immediately as at the age of 14 he was featured on a weekly nationally televised music program called "The New Music".Lawrence's musical journey started with a Band called Axxs, which was made up of a couple of neighborhood school friends. He then moved on to hook up with Bassist Joseph Cumbo & Drummer Michael Marquez and formed what was to be in later years the foundation of Sonic X. Lawrence took a break from the band and went on to study at the world-renowned Guitar Institute of Technology (GIT) in Los Angeles, where he graduated at the young age of 18 years old.Upon his return to Canada, Lawrence reunited with Joseph & Michael and formed a very successful local Band titled L.A. A few name changes and lead vocalists later Sonic X was born. Lawrence is featured prominately as the guiding creative force behind the newly signed Band Sonic X. You can hear Lawrence on the following Recordings: Triumph - Edge of Excess Frozen Ghost - Shake Your Spirit Final Frontier - Second Wave, High Tension Wire Sonic X - Sonic XAside from my main duties with Sonic X, from time to time I enjoy noodling in the recording studio with some instrumental ideas. From these sessions, some gems were written. Take a listen. Hope you enjoy!
