About Me

Mark's production career began with a critically acclaimed short film adaptation of Stephen King's Suffer the Little Children (go to www.sufferproductions.com). Mark was the sole financier and producer on the project - providing oversight for all production activities. Mark is soon to form an ongoing production company for film, music, and entertainment projects. He and writer/director Bernardo Villela recently relocated to Wilmington, Delaware where Bernardo will continue to write and offer editing services as well as acting classes.Mark recently collaborated, as an Executive Producer, with actor and filmmaker Joseph Mazzello (Jurassic Park, The Cure, Simon Birch, Star Kid) on Joe's post-graduate directorial debut, Matters of Life and Death. The short film stars Joseph Mazzello, David Strathairn (Good Night, and Good Luck, A League of Their Own, Simon Birch, Dolores Claiborne), Daniel Gillies (Spider-Man 2, Bride & Prejudice, Trespassing) and Rachael Leigh Cook (Josie and the Pussycats, Texas Rangers) among others.Mark has also been involved in several theatrical productions. Oliver! is Mark's sixth show at the Wilmington Drama League ("WDL"). He previously produced A Christmas Story, the Pillow Play The Silver Whistle, the Western comedy Wild Oats, for which he also designed and built the sets, Just So, and recently Disney's Beauty and the Beast. He is also thrilled to begin serving on the board of directors of WDL's Chrysalis wing as VP of Marketing for their diamond anniversary season.
