About Me

I sleep. I eat. Make theater. Make messes.

My Interests

Theater. Dance. Art. Design. A good story. A healthy risk. Good food, good friends, good music, good weather. Performing, dancing, kissing, eating, drinking, sleeping, writing (repeat).

I'd like to meet:

Creative people. Smart people. Nice people. People who get stuff done. People whose lives thrive on art/music/theatre/dance; the creation, appreciation and propagation thereof. And above all, people who say my name correctly.

Music:

Looking through my iPod you'll find: Arovane, Royoksopp, Andrew Coleman, Bjork, Matias Aguayo, Beck, Bonobo, Postal Service, Ravi Shankar, Tipper, Jurassic 5, Zero 7, Funkstorong, Gomez, The Velvet Underground, Peace Orchestra, Tosca, Air, LTJ Bukem, DJ Shadow, Tricky, Common, Talib Kwali, Prefuse 73, The Jam, Stevie Wonder, Gorillaz, Brian Eno, NWA, A Tribe Called Quest, Kruder & Dorfmeister, The Roots, Wu-Tang, Souls of Mischif, Nina Simone....

Movies:

Brilliant writing, stunning visuals and relevant stories. Crouching Tiger Hidden Dragon, Mulholland Drive, Crash, Blade Runner, Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind, Le Grand Bleu, City of God, Slam, Pulp Fiction, Reservoir Dogs, Amores Perros, Lock, Stock & Two Smoking Barrels, Fight Club, Top Hat, Taxi Driver, On the Waterfront, Butch Cassidy & The Sundance Kid, A Christmas Story, This is Spinal Tap, Being John Malkovich, Bowling for Columbine, The Corporation, Toy Story, Butch Cassidy & The Sundance Kid, The Corpse Bride, The Nightmare Before Christmas

Television:

Unfortunately I have discovered internet TV. So more often than I 'd like to admit, I can be found laying on the floor drooling over Grays Anatomy, 30 Rock or anything else that streams in front of my screen.

Books:

A couple of my faves are: "100 Years of Solitude" by Gabriel Garcia Marquez, "The Wind-Up Bird Chronicles" by Haruki Murakami, "Frannie & Zooey" by JD Salinger and "In the Skin of a Lion" by Michael Ondaatje. At the end of the day I'll read Harry Potter to quiet my mind. And I usually have a design or photography book on the table.
