About Me

BIO'S:
TALENT
Born and raised out of (Bushwick) Brooklyn, Andre "Talent" Roxbury began his passion for music at the age of 7. His father was a DJ in the 80's and Talent's love for music was deeply influenced by that. Surrounded by music while growing up, producer/keyboardist Talent decided early on that if he had to get a job, it had to be doing what he loved to do. With his Casio keyboard, he was able to hear any song and play it by ear during his early childhood years. He took piano lessons to enhance his skills and was in his high school band playing keys, along with his best friend and producer partner "Con-Ed" (who played the drums.) During Talent's years in high school he started producing using the Yamaha SY-85. He had his own distinct sound by the time he was in college and he also learned engineering. Talent's production influences come from: Timbaland, Neptunes, Just Blaze, Trackmasters, Jermaine Dupri and Babyface. Talent infused a remarkable sense of individuality and creativity into his productions. When you hear a Talent production there is no mistaking it for anyone else's work: signature dramatic chords from synth stabs, big drums, crazy percussions sounds; and no sampling. Talent and his right-armed man "Con-Ed," formed a production team called "Smash Brothaz Productions" which will soon dominate the music industry.
CON-ED
Born and raised in Brooklyn, residing in Bk/Queens, Ed aka (Con-Ed/Eddieloco) began his music career at an early age. Watching his dad play the guitar, Ed knew that music was something that he wanted to pursue. Though guitar playing wasn't his expertise he sought out another instrument that would suit him even more. Drums became a passion for the young 25 yr old producer for Brooklyn. Growing up, Ed had 2 different mentalities. One was civilized and the other was street." My brothers kept me aware of the street life. I was never a stranger to it" Applying both minds, he later teamed up with best friend Dre aka (Talent). Realizing too that Dre was also a musician, (keyboards), this became a unique way of producing music and creating such a unique style and sound. "Dre is like a brother to me and together we make smash hits" becoming what is now one of the hottest producers to hit the scene. " Smash Brothaz"
