About Me

The Avari were intially formed in Strabane in 1999 to apease their musical desires to perform tributes to their favourite bands. However it soon became clear that they preferred churning out their own compositions and they quickly became regarded as one of the most prolific songwriting bands in the North. Together for almost a decade, Avari have evolved into an extremely mature songwriting unit who effortlessly weave their varied and diverse tastes to produce a sound that encompasses the best of vintage and modern.
