"It's music, sex, and cookies / Cookies, music, and sex / And it doesn't really matter what order you try 'em / 'cause I like 'em all the best / now I've tried therapy and LSD / I've been lost but now I'm found / And it's music, sex, and cookies / That make my world go 'round" (Georg Uetz)
Whoever you are, send a message introducing yourself before you try and add me as a friend. (MySpace is a spammer's playground these days.) Bonus points if you're familiar with multiple genres of music, understand MIDI, can help me find work, and/or are a music supervisor for independent films. If you know (or are) a promoter who is 'well connected' in the world of downtempo/ambient electronic music, I should be contacting YOU.
Yes, please! And keep it comin'! Currently listening to a lot of techno, for want of a better word. I play several instruments and record electronic music, some of it gets called techno, some trip hop, some drum and bass, some ambient. Whatever you want to call it, as long as you're enjoying it, cool. My criteria of 'good' music isn't based on the way an artist looks but SOUNDS. PoweredBySOUND, dig? I used to be keen on 'alternative'/'indie rock' back in the 90s, but bands broke up, singers blew their heads off with shotguns, and the way the scene became marketed made me lose interest in it for a few years. Where in the world IS Kevin Shields, by the way? Feel free to message me if you know of an artist or band you think I'd enjoy. (MySpace musicians, PLEASE send a message before asking to be added. Take the time to contact me if you'd like me to take the time to check out your work. Thanks.)

I could go on, or you could ask if I've seen it. Recommend something to me!
There are TV shows, and then there's 'watching TV'. I'm not one to sit down to see what's on. I enjoy having a PLAY button. Favorite TV shows: Trailer Park Boys; Weeds; Dexter; Chappelle's Show; The A-Team.
Currently reading: Villa Incognito by Tom Robbins, The Power Of Now by Eckhart Tolle, and have been taking my time finishing a book of interviews with Karlheinz Stockhausen.
My folks, who were brave enough to keep believing that they could handle raising three sons, and who stuck together for long enough to actually get the job done. I also think I should give big "Thank you" to anybody and everybody who has ever taught me anything I've needed to know. This means You. Thank you ladies and gentlemen. Go on, back to being heroic.
