"Lights Off" - T.I.C. Featuring Magno aka Magnificent
Years in the making, TIC began originally under the name GIFTED including: Chase Austin (chase), Gabriel Guapo (shorty g) and Chris Ceaser (lyrical truth). Over the past 8 years many things have changed. In 2002 Lyrical Truth moved away and started rapping in Iowa. 7-Fold began filling in for Lyrical Truth at concerts and events. Chase began working with a group of young men who were hungry to get on the mic, the brightest of these being Stephan Townsend aka "Steve-O" (Deuce 1). They took on the name of TIC. In 2002 and early 2003 TIC put out 2 chopped and screwed mix cd's. TIC began making a name for themselves and performing all around Texas, Louisiana and Arkansas. In May of 2003, the toughest blow to the original GIFTED members occurred when founding member, Gabriel Guapo was murdered.
After releasing one more chopped and screwed cd in late 2003, TIC/GIFTED walked away from the music industry. Each began pursuing many different things but the love of music never left them.
SO NOW, in 2008 we are experiencing a fresh breath to the Hip Hop Game. Chase Austin, 7-Fold, Steve-O and Waymo have come together again to create T.I.C. Working with producers and engineers who have worked alongside the likes of Chamillionaire, Trick Daddy, Akon and Baby Bash, the year promises to be a great one for the group, known for quality music and excellent stage performances!
