3 HEALTHY (MALE) PITBULL PUPPIES FOR SALE!!!!!!Allow me to introduce…
If things go the way Cory-Mo wants them to, he’ll still be producing music and writing songs when he’s sixty years old. He co-owns a business with his older brother (Mike Mo) bearing the moniker of Money At The Door Studios (M.A.D. Studios), and Houston’s Most Unknown Rapper, is all about the business. Writing is his first love, and although he’s been rapping since the fifth grade, C-Mo sees himself as a producer first. When he started producing in 1999, not only did he get a much bigger paycheck, he discovered that he gets more enjoyment out of taking something from scratch and building it into a masterpiece. His success as a producer, however, has not changed his desire to be an equally successful rapper.
He’s a Southern cat with a Southern drawl, but there’s more to Cory-Mo than the typical swang and bang. He’s a laid back, self-contained artist who describes himself as “…a mixture of Outkast and UGK sprinkled with a bit of Kanye.†Most of his influence comes from artists such as Dr. Dre, Kanye West, Pimp C, and Andre 3000 because they are all successful rappers and producers. At the same time, Cory-Mo also looks up to Devin the Dude, Jay-Z, and Eminem because their rhymes are limitless and never a bore.
C-Mo has learned from a gullible past and youthful mistakes and plans to secure longevity in the business by staying focused and business minded. Not wanting to be portrayed as the trendy, gimmicky rapper who’s only known as a one-hit wonder, Cory’s music is a far cry from one-dimensional with interests in genres that span from Hip-Hop to Gospel. If you listen closely to his songs, you can hear many Rock guitars and R&B samples.
So, when you see his name, Cory-Mo, you already know what time it is. As he puts it plainly, “If it ain’t ‘bout no bread, I ain’t trying to hear it.â€
