"Expect poison from the still water"

About Me

..
At some point (don’t ask me exactly when) Rob Oberdorfer started making up songs that he would play and sing and sometimes record. Some of these songs would end up being used in his other projects (The Standard, Loch Lomond). Some of the remaining songs weren’t very good. Still, some of them seemed pretty cool and so Rob decided to compile certain songs that seemed to "vibe" into a record. He worked on this for a long time, eventually deciding it was terrible and no one should be subjected to it... In the summer of 2007 he sequestered himself to the basement studio of his Portland home, reworked some things and generally pulled his head out. The record, "This Should Mean Nothing" is the result of all this vanity and confusion.Rob is currently working on bringing the record to life with the help of some very special friends...
