FLOAT

About Me

-Hello, and thank you for visiting.

------------------------------------------------

-Coming in October on Type Records:
Float -- a full-length album, on CD and vinyl. 10 tracks based around short piano compositions. Lots of strings. Also, little bits of banjo, celeste, saw, vocals, trumpet, drums, etc. Two songs in the player above.

-Also, Due in September on Type Records:
Retreat/Release -- a 7 inch record, with one 5 minute song on each side. Piano, violin, voice, field recordings, and a little bit of percussion.

------------------------------------------------

-Currently out of print, earlier releases:

music for On Paper Wings (2007) - This is a film score for a beautiful documentary by Ilana Sol, handmade in a CD-R edition of 25, given to friends and family. It is unlikely this will ever be properly released, but you can hear one song in the player above :)

4 track songs vols. 1 & 2 (2006) - These are two brief albums I made on a Tascam 4 track cassette recorder, the first one in an edition of 60, the second 55, given away to various friends and heroes and people I met on the road.

untitled saw recordings (2005) - This is a short album that I made to give away as a Christmas gift in 2005. There are 10 tracks of nothing but musical saw. I made 100 copies and somehow managed to get rid of them all...

------------------------------------------------

-Other appearances/collaborations:
Loch Lomond - Paper the Walls (2007, Hush Records)
Machinefabriek - Kruimeldief (2007, Machinefabriek self-release)
