Watch me turn into a
Panther at YouWild.org
My main interest is doing what I can to help animals. I sponsor six animal advocate groups and also several individual farm animals. I recently sponsored a beautiful horse named Pearl. I've always wanted a horse, so this is the next best thing. Through my business, I adopted several animals on the endangered species list. So far, I've adopted a polar bear, wolf, and recently adopted a special seal lion pup named Arrow. I have pictures of both Pearl and Arrow above my desk so I can look at them all day. In the next year, I plan to adopt more animals on the endangered species list. I believe in helping animals in the wild just as much as domestic animals. Locally, I help to trap, spay/neuter and provide vaccinations for feral cats. If everyone would spay or neuter their pets, people like me wouldn't have to. Eating an extremely healthy, veg diet and staying fit are also important to me. Having said that, I would never consider marrying someone who eats meat. Only veg food in THIS house. Also, I do not buy, eat, or wear animal products. After all, you can't claim to love animals if you eat them. No, I do not drink milk, eat eggs or wear leather shoes... I love hunting accidents. I know that doctors "accidentally" kill more people than guns do. I think the factory farming industry, paired with our own government are the biggest criminals on earth. I hope all pharmaceutical companies go bankrupt. I don't care what the majority thinks or does. I care about what is right. I am not only a caring consumer, but a smart one. I am also really interested in cars. (I actually study the statistics and new car info. on edmunds.com and other car sites.) Some people read the newspaper in the morning, I like reading about cars. I love music trivia. For some strange reason I know the title, artist, year and lyrics to most anything.- When people can't understand the words to a song, they normally ask me. I am currently learning to speak Dutch. My latest obsession is working on my abs and shoulders.
Meet my birds...The two green ones are Hortense & Aloysius, they are 12. The little grey one is Amadeus, he is 8. (He has the nasty habit of plucking his feathers out
on occasion.) The light green one is his mate, Sprite, she is 2.

*I'd like to meet Bill Maher. I wish he were president. Pretty much anything that comes out of Bill Maher's mouth is the gospel as far as I'm concerned. I don't place much value on anyone else's comments or input regarding politics.
*I'd like to meet Ingrid Newkird, the cofounder and president of PETA. I think she's done great things for animals all over the world. (things that most people would be afraid to do or say) I admire her efforts and determination. She puts animals first, helping those who cannot speak for themselves. I can't think of a better purpose in life.
*I'd like to meet Paul McCartney. I have always been a big fan of his music. I also appreciate the effort he and his late wife Linda made on behalf of animals. He and his(soon to be ex) wife Heather also make great efforts on behalf of PETA. They help expose the things that most people simply aren't aware of.
*I'd like to meet George Carlin, my favorite comedian. He always speaks the truth and says what others don't have the guts to say. He is also highly intelligent along with being funny. One of the FEW people that can make me laugh.
*I'd like to meet one of my favorite actors, James Spader. Along with being a great actor, he has a witty sense of humor. (Something most people are lacking.) Seems like someone that could actually have a meaningful and intelligent conversation. He was also pretty hot when he was younger.
*I'd like to meet Peter Young and shake his hand. If you want to know more about him visit www.supportpeter.com or check out my blog titled "Peter Young."
*I'd like to meet Demi Moore. Anyone who knows me, knows why. There is something we have in common.
*I'd like to meet George W. Bush, so I can look him right in the eyes and tell him that he is the worst president in US history. That I am truly ashamed he is from my state and that he is one of the most destructive, cowardly, and unintelligent men I've seen. If you're IQ is only 90, you have no business running a country. Especially this one.
(Hey, at least I'm woman enough to say it.)
*I'd love to meet Adam Garcia, who is THE most gorgeous man on earth. Literally. Perfect hair, skin, teeth, clothes, everything. Ding ding ding, we have a winner. One a scale from 1-10, he gets a 15. A few others on my "hot list" are Emile Hirsch, Olivier Martinez and Jared Leto.
*I'd like to meet other vegetarians/vegans and people who would like to help with animal welfare issues. Normal, sharp, genuine, interesting, funny, non-crazy people. People with similar interests.
*Ik wil nog Holden Caulfield ontmoeten. Geen twijfel.

This is my outgoing message for friends and those may not know me that well and want to put a voice with my face. I don't have this feature set up to record or send me messages. But, I will update my outgoing message to keep everyone posted on my book. Thanks!
The Eagles, Fleetwood Mac, The BeeGees, Journey, Pink
Floyd, Motley Crue, Skid Row, The Ramones, and Styx are a few of my all-time favorite bands. I still listen to Beastie Boys, KISS, Led Zeppelin, Public Enemy and many others. Gordon Lightfoot, Elton John, and Paul McCartney are more favorites. Nobody can sing like Steve Perry or Sebastian Bach. Nobody can play the drums like Tommy Lee. Period. I LOVE listening to 60's, 70's, and 80's music, disco, old heavy metal (when it sounded like metal) and even classic country is awesome. I miss the days when MTV actually played music and videos, esp. Headbanger's Ball. I also love going to concerts. I have Yahoo Unlimited locked on that 60's/70's Hits Station because I listen to music all day when I'm working. (The best $7 I spend each month by the way.) My favorite "workout music" is Paul Oakenfold, Groove Armada, Sasha, and Crystal Method. I like a wide variety of music (esp. older stuff), but there are certain things like Jazz or pretty much any song by Nirvana or Pearl Jam that makes me cringe. The playlist below is basically some of my all-time favorites. If it's on here, it's because I love it. I think you can tell a lot about a person by the music they listen to.
Me and Ava, One of the many reasons I work at home.
Me and Damien, Another Reason I Work At Home

My favorite cable shows are Dexter (my favorite show of all time), Nip/Tuck, Sex and The City, Curb Your Enthusiasm, Entourage, Real Time w/ Bill Maher, The Sopranos, and Big Love. I love Lifetime movies, I could watch them all day. Favorites for t.v. are Boston Legal, Lost, Grey's Anatomy, and Desperate Housewives. I do NOT watch the news, too negative for me.
**I also watch Forensic Files and Psychic Detectives every night. I don't have time to watch much "live" tv. I save my shows for late at night or maybe weekends.

I read several kinds of books...If I'm reading something "scary" I prefer Stephen King. My favorite book that he wrote is Needful Things. Some authors I prefer are Suze Orman, Zig Ziglar and Tony Robbins. I believe everyone could benefit somehow by reading their books. I love "The Far Side" books...My favorite cartoon I guess you could say. George Carlin also writes some thought -provoking, witty and hilarious books. BrainDroppings is really funny. I've read a lot of books on forensics and human behavior in my life. Obviously, they were all non-fiction. I guess that's why I have more respect for animals than I do for people.
My number one hero of all time is Owen. He was a cat that I rescued that had been severely tortured. He was in pretty bad shape when I found him, but instantly started purring when I picked him up. I expected him to flip out when I started doctoring his wounds, but he didn't. With the office visits and surgeries, he never acted afraid. In fact, he seemed like the most appreciative animal I have ever seen. I knew he had been through the worst hell, so I made sure I spoiled him to death while he was my pet. He had 6 quality months with me where he got to live and play like a normal cat, sleep in our bed, and feel loved. He passed away from an illness he had before I found him, but everyday I think of him and how brave and trusting he was. I was and still am very proud of him.
