Todd Hembrook and the Hemispheres were created to fill the musical void Chicago has been suffering for too long. The Hemispheres come from Chicago's underground music scene and bring the energy, passion, and respect for Soul music which most commercialized wedding band style bands lack. They do this for the music. As a true Soul Revue, Todd Hembrook and the Hemispheres perform an eclectic selection of Soul standards and dusty gems. Each member has their favorite artist and favorite songs so you can expect to hear a wide variety with some recognizable and some intriguing songs. The Hemispheres have arrived in 2006 on the heels of Soul revival that is currently happening in the city thanks in large part to MOD Chicago, The Northern Guerillas, DJ John Ciba, James Porter, DJ Posuer, many other pivotal DJs and the countless Soul lovers who show up at these events on a monthly and even weekly basis!!
