About Me

Smash Alley, original rock from PA. Guitar driven, song oriented. We've been described as having a classic, 70's rock sound. Smash Alley's live show features big rock vocals, blues rock guitar playing and a rock solid (cliche noted) rhythm section. Ed Ludwig (vocals, guitar) and Darren Carango (guitar) are formerly of Odd Man Out, which released one cd on Gutter Eye Records in 2005 and played the nationally prestigious Musikfest 2005 in Bethlehem, Pa. Ian Zapczynski (drums) played with Ed in Tomfoolery and also composed the music for the horror movie "The Mark Of Dracula" (Wildcat Entertainment). Douglas ("Nicodemus") Sanders (bass) played with several bands in Los Angeles, including Midnight Angel and GrooveYard Dawgs, before moving back to PA. *CLUBS AND BARS: For local three set shows Smash Alley plays classic rock and blues covers along with their original rock material.*Venues / Shows played as Smash Alley (and Odd Man Out) include Street Road Bar & Grille, Five Points Sports Bar, AJ's Sports Bar, DaBar & Grille, Jillian's, John & Peter's, Musikfest 2005 (in Bethlehem), BBQ On The River (Bristol, PA 2006), Charlie's Pub, Cazz's, City Limits, Dr. Watson's, the 449 Room and more.******************************************************* *********
