HISTORY OF OUT ON THE TOWN ENTERTAINMENT GUIDE - OOT was designed as a TV SHOW FIRST....then we started our path into local entertainment news: WE started the OOT paper back in 1979,out of the MAIN LINE TIMES in ARDMORE PA., and it took us three years to get on the TV with our first show in 1982 WWSG TV Channel 57 ( SATURDAY AFTERNOONS at 1:00pm ) .... IN 1983....(the old WKBS TV 48 in Good old South Philly ) aired our TV SPECIALS EACH Wednesday night at 12 midnight....then OOT ran our Official "hOt SpOtS" on TV 6, TV 10 and TV 3 in PHILADELPHIA....IN the early to mid 80's, OOT was proud to setup the very FIRST DIGITAL BULLETIN BOARD on COMCAST in NE PHILA and in WILLOW GROVE PA CHANNEL 45.... this ran 24/7 OOT WAS THE VERY FIRST ENTERTAINMENT PAPER TO GO with(DIGITAL IMAGES on where to go and what to do... when digital was not cool- we had it up and running 24 /7 on COMCAST) Then in the early 90's...OOT produced over (75) 1/2 hour TV SPECIALS....shot at various clubs in the region... OOT TV shot two special CASINO SHOWS...ONE LIVE AT THE TRUMP CASTLE / MARINA in AC....and one sepcial FOR CAESARS CASINO AT DOVER DOWNS SLOTS....NEW COMING / OOT TV will be on WMCN TV DT 44 on COMCAST in 2.1 million homes - once again with a new style for a new generation look for this coming to you every so many months...and then go to the ootwebsite at www.ootweb.com ....You will be able to see our segements on the INTERNET also you will see our segments on BROADCAST TV - More then just your paper - OOT is your source for the best in local entertainment NEWS (PR and marketing for the local entertainment Industry is what we are all about...)
