Four lads producing and performing original rock that, some would say, "is simply ahead of its time." With groovy riffs and avant-garde solos from guitarist Scott Galloway (North Wales), the soulful melodies and lyrics of singer August Roderick (transplant from Madison, Wisconsin), the acrobatic and nimble bass thrumming and thumping of Clarence Horne (Lansdale), and the bone-shaking percussive musical genius of Jeff Boyer (Hatfield).
Releasing 1 album, 4 six-song EPs and performing in excess of 500 live shows from Boston to Baltimore, not to mention the stages of the legendary CBGBs in NYC [R.I.P.] and the infamous Whisky A Go-Go on the Sunset Strip, has led to a loyal following, one becoming the cult-like F.O.P. or "Friends Of Paint Box."
Scott decided enough was enough, and with a farewell show in September of 2000, Paint Box disbanded and Scott moved to California.

A few years later, the original "F.O.P.," Andrew Rigler created this site and pleaded with the band to play "just ONE more show."
Suprisingly, it worked.
That "one" jam-packed show in April of 2007 convinced Paint Box to reunite, but under the advanced and masterful stylings of Michael McClellan on guitar.
The three original members are in complete agreement, "He walked into the audition and nailed the first three songs from "Absolutely Live at Sonic," said August. Clarence added, "This guy is AMAZING, he make us feel unworthy." "This might actually work." grunted Jeff. :o)
