1er album de Catarrhal en tout point fameux. Un death-metal pur et dur, fidèle à l'école américaine du début des 90s(…)on retrouve ce sens inné du riff accrocheur habité par un satané groove, ce même souci de proposer un death-metal acéré et qui plus est varié. IN EXTREMIS 4/5----------------------------------------------------They have a distinct sound that embodies both the aggressive elements of Brutal Death and the more technical elements of Melodic Death and combines them into something which is almost unique, something that maintains the raw brutality so inherent within the old school of Death Metal yet also has a distinctly fresh feel. Vocals could be described as being somewhere between MORBID ANGEL and AMON AMARTH and are definitely some of the better vocals I have heard on a Death Metal album, simply put, I believe that they embody everything that Brutal Death metal vocals should. Jacopo Ligozzi did a great job in creating an atmosphere of melancholy that seems to carry a burden of gruesome stories from a dark past. That same melancholy can also be heard in the music This is definitely something different than those been-there-done-that 'blood and guts' artwork that's still too standard in the death metal scène.
