DARKWATER
Darkwater is a hip hip/rap group composed of five talented lyricists from Spartanburg S.C., was formed in 1999 by their founding member Shaun Mills a.k.a Shaun Sluggs. The other members of the group are Terrence Martin a.k.a T-Diablo, Brian Martin a.k.a Truth, Nick Hughs a.k.a J-Walk, and Tashan Gasch a.k.a Classic . This group has performed at local talent shows, hip-hop conventions, and bike shows.
The group has also opened for talented artists such as Youngbloodz, Petey Pablo, Jadakiss, Trick Daddy, Young Jeezy, and Mr. Cheeks. Theyve performed at ATL's Copelands & Level 3 nightclub, Charlotte Convention Center(CIAA), Clemson Univ, and all over the upstate. Darkwater captures their audience attention by performing at a high energetic level and by working every aspect of the stage and crowd until the show is over. This group have their listeners begging for more after every concert and listening party.
The group has already release a street album titled Livin Proof under a prior name and can currently be heard on S.L.U.M. Entertainments Tough Talk Mixtape. They split time between Spartanburg and Atlanta while working on their forthcoming as yet untitled album for S.L.U.M. Entertainment.
