The Takedowns

Originally named "The Revolvers", The Takedowns were born out of the ashes of a few fizzled-out attempts by BP and former members of The Jawaz to move beyond the standard punk rock fare. One of the first of La Puente's "Punk Rock 'n' Roll" bands, The Takedowns were formed in the summer of 2000 just below the shadow of what was once called P Hill. Combining a bit of rock 'n' roll's swagger, a touch of the blues' soul, and a whole lotta punk rock attitude, The Takedowns formulated a volatile musical cocktail.
