With no prior songwriting experience, Alan has received a handful of awards and recognition from songwriting competitions nationwide. As the years progressed, his interests in music shifted from recording it to playing it for others. In time, DJing became Alan’s first priority. Even though his recording was placed on the back burner during this period, DJing allowed Alan to subconsciously observe and learn about every genre that the world of music offered him. Attending an arts school throughout high school and studying music formally for 22 years; has given him the experience needed in todays industry. This knowledge and appreciation for all types of music is evident in his recent productions, giving his work flexibility and depth. Experience and knowledge gained has propelled Mr. Arañas to start a recording studio, Sound Creation Studios under ,NonStop Access Management.

In a single adjective, Alan’s style of production can be described as moving, in both senses of the word. One day he could be producing a song that can be so deeply and emotionally moving, the next day it could be an energetic track that would make the partygoers move toward the dance floor. Alan’s musical influences include the classic work of John Williams, Elliot Goldenthal, Howard Shore as well as the platinum hitmakers, the Neptunes & Timbaland. On the songwriting side of things, he’s inspired by the likes of Babyface, Brian McKnight, Richard Marx, Ne-yo and many others. He has worked with artists such as Nolan Doran (Bling Dynasty/ Doran Productions), female vocalist/writer Ophelia, drummer Vince Marcelo (Silver Scene), DJ Redworm, The Fistful of Fifties, Moeroc (One20 productions), Forte (Omarion, Ciara) and many other talented artists.
