Reading, writing, working out, IM chat and email, movies, theater, music, Dark Shadows, Shadow Lane, Marx Brothers, chocolate, cats, and being spanked regularly.
Friends, for chat and sharing of experiences, commiserating, mutual support, laughs, whatever. If you know what Shadow Lane or OTK is, that's a huge plus. :-) Yeah, I'm into spanking (receiving, that is), and I've been in a few videos. I_DO_NOT_TOP, and I don't play with women. I can't emphasize that enough. Don't let the fact that I have a boyfriend intimidate you; I get spanked by other men all the time. Please don't add me unless you're interested in who I am, and don't try to add me if you're under 18. I have no desire to corrupt minors. And please, if you correspond with me, keep it clean and polite, and put a little more than two seconds of thought into it. Messages that just say "hi" or "how r u" will be ignored -- if you can't bother to spell out "how are you," I can't bother to reply.
Beatles, Stevie Ray Vaughan, Chris Isaak, 50s and 60s oldies, some Springsteen and U2, Doors, surf guitar (Dick Dale, anyone?), lots of classical. NO rap/hip-hop; that's not music, that's noise.
Some favorites include A Hard Day's Night, West Side Story, Edward Scissorhands, Rebel Without a Cause, Singin' in the Rain, Dirty Dancing, Thelma and Louise, Philadelphia Story, Secretary, Shawshank Redemption, Wizard of Oz, Sound of Music, The Bad Seed, Titanic. Love old classics, intelligent comedies and well-done dramas.
Desperate Housewives, Boston Legal, Ugly Betty, Law & Order SVU, Scrubs. Classic favorites: Dark Shadows (the original version, NOT the 90s remake), Dick Van Dyke show, Get Smart, Carol Burnett, All in the Family, You Bet Your Life. I don't like reality TV, but I admit, I'm addicted to Dancing With the Stars.
Voracious reader -- lots of favorites. Some authors: Anne Rivers Siddons, Wally Lamb, Pat Conroy, Jodi Picoult, Marian Keyes. Gone With the Wind, To Kill a Mockingbird, My Sister's Keeper, I Know This Much is True, Peachtree Road, Prince of Tides, Phantom Tollbooth (yeah, I know that's a kid's book, but it's still one of my favorites).
I don't really believe in heroes, but I would have to say my late father, for his comedic brilliance. Oh, and firefighters -- they are in the most noble profession I can think of.
