Autumn 1998: Headmeat arises out of the ashes of black metalbands Faustian Moon, When Autumn Ended and Morto Perpet.

February 2001: release of demo tape "Homicidal Intent"

Autumn 2003: Headmeat gets the attention of America's Baphomet Records, the label of Killjoy (Necrophagia, Wurdulak, Viking Crown ...) and gets signed for two cd's.

March 2004: release of the mini-cd "Destructive Entitlement"

August 2005: release of the full-cd "Mass Sociogenic Illness"
