About Me

CURRENT MOON lunar phaseI love myspace, met some wonderful people on here, love to chat about all kinds of stuff. Im a witch, innitiated into a local coven about 2 years ago now, or maybe 3 years now i come to think about it, and becoming a witch changed my life. I've had a few life changing experiences, the major one was the birth of my daughter who was born blind with a hole in her heart. The amount of support, or should i say the little support we got made the whole shock of having a child with a disability all the harder to cope with, and i went through quite a few years of depression before it was picked up by my doctor and i started taking medication - i remember the day well, it was like all of a sudden i had woken up and i was smiling and playing with the kids - i wasn't Robo-mum anymore, and it was a amazing. During the time I was depressed my marriage broke down and i kicked him out, the internet and the friends i made then were such a godsend to me, and being able to turn TO the computer and AWAY from all the shit in my life was the escape i needed.
Once out of the depression, i found i had changed so much, for the better, stronger, i didnt care about the little things in life, as i realised that before the birth of my daughter i had a lot of things totally out of perspective. Having my daughter changed my life totally, re-wrote what was important and more importantly what wasn't, and from them on i havn't looked back - Life really is too short!
I used to work with a german shepherd rescue charity, and from that managed to help so many unlucky and unloved animals. I am the local beaver scout leader, which means i have a section of boys between the ages of 6 and 8 - they run me ragged and make me wanna tear my hair out sometimes, but i love doing it, and its all worth it when you get a "thanks" from them, pity we have to put up with the parents mind you, but they arn't *all* that bad i guess LOL I have been the chairperson, and secretary of my kids school P.T.A for years now, heavily involved in organising fundraisers and making things happen in the school - i have a dislike for those who sit about and wait for others to do things when their kids benefit from all the hard work too *grrrr* its a bugbear of mine. But you can't make people do things and everyone has their own reasons for not doing or doing what they do i guess.
I wrote all this a long time ago, then lost it and i can't for the life of me remember what i had put! If there is anything you wanna ask, message me :)

My Interests

I LOVE the art of Luis Royo.....its soooo sexy!
I love reading a good book favorites at the minute are Karin Slaughter, Kelley armstrong, and my all time fav author Anne Rice....... i also love creative writing. I HAVE to have music on all the time, i love to paint (in oils) i love to sculpt in clay. I love taking my beaver scouts out for outings, and teaching them to be the best at what they can be. I love socialising with friends, going out to lunch with my circle of friends, and setting the world to rights, as we women do over choccie cake LOL I love to spend time with my family, and kick the boys asses on the X-box.........ok only JUST kick their asses............:) I love spending time with the Baby Bears. I love driving, and cars. Gary does the tuning etc and i love to do the bodywork, and colours..........we love cars a little bit too much! LOL

I'd like to meet:

I really don't wanna meet anyone famous, well except Jason Statham *rawr* so really the only people i would like to meet are the people i meet .. :) I love to meet people who are up for a laugh and who don't take themselves too seriously and who don't bring along the drama......I would love to meet Duncan who lives in Edinburgh and who i have been emailing every morning for almost 3 years lol
Fictional characters i would love to meet would be, Lestat the vampire *tingle*, sparhawk, from david eddings books, Aurian, cos she kicks ass big time........to name but a few :)

Music:

Create your own Friend Test hereDisturbed are my ulitmate fav band cos david draimans voice makes me tingle, but I like lots of stuff from finger eleven, evanessence, seether, hinder, linkin park......there are way too many to mention. What i don't like is dance music (except for the blade video on my page lol) and manufactured chart crap!!!

Movies:

I love watching a good film, favs include, the blade trilogy, the fast and the furious 1&2, pirates 1, 2 and 3, gone in 60 seconds, the craft, constantine, crank, riddock 1&2 to name but some!

Television:

i have many fav series, a few include, Heroes, Stargate, Battlestar Gallactica, Bones, NCIS, CSI (all of em) Criminal minds, etc etc anything thats good to be honest.

Books:

Karin slaughter, Anne Rice, Raymond e Feist, Katherine Kerr, Kelley Armstrong, Janny Wurts, David Eddings.

Heroes:

My heroes are my friends and family, especially my daughter.!
