My interests include world music, video, community and Internet radio, old houses, auctions, antique stores, thrift shops and green iguanas, turtles, birds and cats. I have lots of houseplants and a crazy Barbie collection too (as well as lots of other toys - many from my own childhood). One of my favorite antique gadgets is the stereoscope (and of course the vast variety of cards to view with one). I like gardening - fruits and veggies as well as flowers. I also like playing "The Sims 2."..
I would like to meet hopeful people with a positive outlook and a good sense of humor. I like people with wide variety of interests and who aren't necessarily anything like me. I also hope to meet people who create and perform world music and electronica, people into digital video production and other community radio DJs.
..World Music (especially African, Jamaican, Indian and Middle Eastern) and various electronic stuff (especially new and old skool electro and old ragga jungle). I also really like the fusion of electronic and world music together. January 2007: I recently watched a great video of John Coltrane performing on "Jazz Casual," which I picked up from a flea-market (what a great find! - it is on Rhino home video in case anyone else is interested it).

Hawaii Five-O, King of the Hill, This Old House, Frazier, most PBS Britcoms, and I like nature and science shows. I don't have cable because there is plenty of free crap on broadcast TV to rot your brain with, lol. If I had Dish Network, I would watch Free Speech TV. I especially hate reality TV shows and talk/drama shows (like Morey and Jerry).
..
