I was bored and old before I even knew what teenage angst was. Someone once called me the most depressing person they'd ever met, which I thought was a little harsh. I am incredibly hard work as a friend, since I careen wildly between being incredibly likeable and easy to get on with, and irritating beyond belief. I don't really have any emotional hangups, although I have a phobia of pretty much everything under the sun.
By trade I am a Technical Coordinator for a group of project managers at a medium sized international building firm. Don't ask me what that means, partly because it's very boring to describe, and partly because I'm not sure how to describe in less than 3000 words.
I made the mistake of getting into the computer industry, by merit of dropping all the subjects I wanted to study in school. As a result I don't particularly enjoy my job, even though I'm apparently very good at it. At heart I'm a writer, as you'll probably pick up from my fondness of using over-long, pretentious words. I am also really bad for noticing other peoples' spelling mistakes.
I'm working on a couple of stories right now, none of which are in any fit state to be seen by others. I am also working on a comic with a good friend of mine ( his website ), which I hope to have in some kind of presentable form by July 2007. Watch this space, as they say!
I like chocolate, good music (no specific genres, I just like music in general), high-powered showers (the ones which take a couple layers of skin off), cycling, reading, dancing and the cinema.
I dislike real violence (as opposed to computer game violence and violence in comic books - there is a difference), aniseed, people who complain unnecessarily, people who won't speak out when it is necessary, people with closed minds, those who can't respect the beliefs of others, and people who put complete bollocks in their profiles to make them seem more interesting than they really are.
