Hip hop is who I am, but as an artist and producer I have learned not only to appreciate, but to feed off all types genres. I hate pop shit though. Smoke a blunt and listen to Kurt Cobain or throw in my fronts and zone off of Lil' Wayne. It's all self-expression.
I like independent films. Not really into linear movies. I like shit that makes me think or want to be creative. Lately, all the black movies have been the same. Four dudes or four chicks and fucked up relationships. What type of message is that transcending to rest of world? I love gangsta movies because of clarity of the characters and pureness of emotion. Quentin Tarintino is a beast. Spike Lee is a monster. Speilberg is from another planet. These are my mentors.

Non Fiction. I read whatever is in front of me. Right now, I'm reading this Franklin Covey book: The Seven Habits of Highly Successful People and The 48 Laws of Power by Robert Green. If you cop the second one be careful.
