SHANNON BABYGURL ROLEY

I Became involved with singing at a young age. Church Choir, All City Choir, private voice lessons, and McPhail Center For The Arts. Going to the IMTA convention for modeling in 1988 after attending classes at Plaza 3 Modeling school for a year. I started tap dance classes at the tender age of 3 and pursued ballet, Jazz and now hip hop at Essence Of Prodigy. Writing poetry led to having an ear and a love for music, which prompted writing in various studio's in high school. Thanks to OMC Music and Columbia Tri-Star had a few songs aired on The Young And The Restless back in the day. I Did some plugs for KMOJ, a cable show, fund raisers, commercials, sang at the MN State Fair, singing backgrounds for various artist's in the studio and on stage (Glam Slam Night Club), and traveling to Los Angeles, Atlanta, New York, Arizona, Florida, Kansas City, Canada, Mexico, Dominican Republic, etc....I love to travel.I Worked with many, many great producers cranking out songs. James Park(Fortay), Lasalle Gabriel(S.L.R.), Carl Linder, Ben Obi (Nutty Boyz), Dave Connover (Rock Solid), Greg Mock (Switchin' Lanes), Jason Carter, Bruce Griggs (Lin Quei), Break Bread/Bad Company Ent, Darin Baker (Superpower), Envy, to name a few. I'd just like to give a shout out to all of you for doing what you do so well! Thank you !!!!! After buying equipment I began producing my own cd Dance With Me in 2005. I started getting new tracks from some hot producers and went to work. I did some vocal coaching for 3 other female artists (Isabella is one-check out her page on my top friends) and recording a few rappers (Nitty, Phat, Tone, Stone, Big Grit, G.P. of Ghetto Poets) for my tracks and their own. Summer 07 I started working on (12) mixtape tracks with Exclusive Entertainment (Cat Daddy, Dre, Ke, Ed, B and others) mainly laying down their vocals and mixing and doing shows at the Red Sea with them. (Shot out to A.K. AT ATM) Exclusive Ent. featured on some of my tracks as well. Over October and November 2007, I worked on (F.N.G.) Fame N Glory's mixtape, laying down (engineering) their vocals on over 18 tracks, singing backgrounds for the guys, and mixing. Shot out to Dante Pedro for co-producing the mixes. Looking to put up a website soon. I put a cd together entitled Here We Go in 2007!
