I hear you talking when I'm on the street, your mouth don't move, but I can hear you speak

About Me

Everything went from bad to worse, money never changed a thing, Death kept followin', trackin' us down, at least I heard your bluebird sing. Now somebody's got to show their hand, time is an enemy, I know you're long gone, I guess it must be up to me.If I'd thought about it I never would've done it, I guess I would've let it slide, If I'd lived my life by what others were thinkin', the heart inside me would've died. I was just too stubborn to ever be governed by enforced insanity, Someone had to reach for the risin' star, I guess it was up to me.

Deadheads and Jewish Soul Mamas

I'm far from a deadhead, but I do have every album they recorded in the 1960's and 1970's and quite a few hours of live recordings - but as much as I like the Dead, I probably wouldn't list them in my...

Tony Visconti - producer of Bowie, T-Rex, et al.

Patti Smith vs. the Allman Brothers

when the Allman Brothers came into the scene in the late 60's - there was nothing quite like them - sure they used basic blues rock as a jumping off point - but no-one else (except them) was blen...

After this recent mass murder in VA, I ask myself once again - why isn't the media screaming out for new gun control laws ?  ok - you say everyone has the right to own a gun - no problem, if...

Sandy Denny - she's ready for a comeback

I've been listening to Sandy Denny for so many years now, I take her for granted. I first heard her via Fairport Convention's Unhalfbricking album in 1982 and later that year, I  bought a 2 ...
